There are many people in this world who suffer great lengths of time from diseases, maladies, illnesses, and the like. I am actually one of them and there doesn’t seem to be a single day that passes anymore without me praying for my own healing. I thought it might be good to share one of my prayers for healing so that it could help others in their own journeys to heal from whatever it is they are suffering from…
“Dear God, I love you but I’m scared because of my health issues. I’m really frustrated with my healing process and my patience is being tested in all of what I’m going through. But I trust that You are continuing to guide that process and still have a wonderful plan in store for me. Please forgive me for all the times where I’ve been angry about my health issues, where I’ve totally felt like just giving up, and where I’ve even asked you to end my life. I know those thoughts and feelings happen when I’m most in pain. Please know that none of that comes from my soul’s truest desires. I believe all my soul truly wants God is to heal and be in a much better state of health to serve you even more faithfully. God, I only ask for Your continued guidance and strength to get there as I know that will be enough to help me endure through the rest of this healing process. I thank you for hearing my prayer and for when that day arrives where I’m completely healed from all of this. Amen.”
