Freedom to finally be able to accept myself as I am and accept others as they are. That has been the hardest part of my recovery, I think. I have been able to accept others more than being accepting with myself. It is an ongoing process and might never be complete, but if I can do it today, I win! I can’t look forward or backward. Right now is the place I need to worry about.
I’m glad you connected with today’s question and shared your answer. I’m thankful to know you have a found a big piece of freedom in your life!!!
